W.O.E.’s First In-Person Interview Video Features Rick Woolard, A Vietnam-Era Frogman & SEAL Team 6 Commander
We are beyond excited to announce the release of our first interview video on the W.O.E. YouTube Channel. Our first subject, US Navy Captain (Ret.) Rick Woolard joined the Navy in 1965, serving with distinction as a SEAL during the Vietnam War at the start of an incredible 30-year career that culminated with commanding SEAL Team 6. Woolard was also issued a Tudor Submariner, but throughout his career and post-military life, Rick religiously wore a Rolex Submariner reference 1680, a watch that has seen its fair share of action and adventure.
This is only the first in a new series of in-person videos highlighting individuals from the W.O.E. Community and, of course, their watches. Humble brag, but this is a big moment for us. We’ve been putting a ton of time and effort into filming and editing the type of videos we would like to watch ourselves, and we’re pumped to get them out to y’all.
Rick’s story and watches are truly incredible, and a powerful reminder that, once again, a watch is never just a watch.
Enjoy episode thirty-eight of W.O.E. TV.
Happy Hunting,
-W.O.E.

Rolex as a part of his story, great read.
Great video on a special man who served our Country with dedicated distinction. We’ve been friends for many years ; I served in Navy fighter squadrons and we shared many sea stories over the years and some adult beverages. I’ve had a Rolex since 1967. Way to go Rick!
Rick is the real deal. He stands tall among all of the seals I knew in my 26 years as an active duty seal. He is still proud of his Rolex AND his Porsche!
This is the way
