In response to many who have asked, we developed a new version of our Glomar Explorer Hook & Loop Strap with black PVD stainless steel hardware. If you appreciate the Glomar Explorer but have been waiting for a perfect match for your PVD or DLC black watches, this is the answer.
Modeled off the traditional hook-and-loop dive watch strap, the Glomar Explorer - PVD/Black is a premium single-pass adjustable adventure strap for those who use their watches as tools.
We set out to create a premium hook-and-loop watch strap, something that many consider an oxymoron. The strap name is derived from USNS Hughes Glomar Explorer, a deep-sea drillship platform that was used by the CIA to recover a Soviet submarine K-129 in the Pacific Ocean in 1974.
For a comfortable fit, we developed an ultra-thin custom matte weave nylon construction, a custom 316L stainless steel engraved buckle, and a snug strap keeper to ensure the watch remains secure on your wrist.
Currently available only in our Standard Length (see below for sizing information), the Glomar Explorer - PVD/Black is available in solid OD Green or Black.

All orders are shipped within 4-7 business days of placing the order. The typical delivery time frame is between 9-12 business days. That said, our goal is to get the order out to the customer as soon as possible and will try to get it in the mail within 48 hours. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping, unless noted otherwise in the product description.
Items are shipped via USPS, FedEx or UPS, as indicated during check out. WOE Trading Post LLC has no control over shipments once they are accepted by the carrier. After your order is shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email that will include a tracking number for your convenience. Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. Once an order has shipped the ship to address cannot be changed.
Please understand that we cannot be responsible for lost or missing packages that have been successfully delivered to the address provided with your order. Shipping times are not guaranteed by WOE Trading Post LLC.

Returns and exchanges are accepted for a full refund of the cost of the product within 14 days of receipt of the product. For a full refund, all returns must be shipped back in new condition and including any extra items shipped with the order. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to the store and is responsible for the original shipping cost.
Custom, made-to-order and Print on Demand items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
If an order is returned to us, shipping costs will need to be re-paid before it can be reshipped. New products or replacements for orders returned to sender, will not be shipped until the original, undeliverable order has been returned and received by us.
If you receive the wrong item(s), or if you receive an imperfect item please contact us within 7 days of delivery to submit a claim. For all claims, please provide photos of the products, packaging, and your order number. If you received the wrong item please provide a photo of the item you did receive, including an image of the product. If the order arrived with an imperfect item, please include photos of the imperfection. We will then issue a replacement order, and if applicable, we will provide a prepaid shipping label to return the incorrect items.

Perfect for the watch
I've been on the hunt for the perfect strap for my Citizen Promaster Diver for months. I burned through the leather, nato, sail cloth, and NATO options on Amazon, but they all left me thoroughly unimpressed. I didn't want to spend $49 on a band for a $350 watch, but decided, what the hell? I am blown away by the quality, comfort, and support this band provides. It looks great, feels great, and really compliments the watch. I'll definitely be sticking to WOE bands in the future!
Was looking for a pass-through high-quality hook and loop strap and came across the Glomar Explorer. Really happy with it on my Prevail Onward!
it's exactly what I needed - I removed the loop, I just didn't need it. YMMV on that, but a great strap nonetheless.

Wow! Great straps! Thank you. Have a couple more in mind as soon as I'm notified stock is replenished. I will say the keeper is a bit fiddly, but it's purposely snug, which I appreciate.
The WOE Glomar strap? It is almost prefect. I think it is better than anything else available using Velcro. Not much for looks and the velcro placement could be a lot better for anything past a 7.25" wrist. It is easy to critic, but that doesn't make it bad as is. The majority of details, as in, exceptional quality on the strap material, the super tight keeper and sewing are exceptional. The buckle could be more rounded and tumbled to be more comfortable. and less likely to hang up on anything. The velcro placement needs to be better for bigger wrists. 8" wrist has a full 3/4" of loop Velcro showing. Still the best hook and loop strap available today, which includes the Tudor FXD OEM straps.
I've a FXD watch from the time of first availability. Great watches, accurate, reliable and concrete tough by all accounts. But of the many straps I have used on the FXD I have never been totally satisfied with any of them. Until now. I actually bought this one just to add a black Glomar. No joke. The strap is that good. I now have the Glomar on both 20 and 22mm sized watches. This strap is worth every penny of its cost to me. Much higher quality and simply a better strap than Tudor's OEM strap by a fare bit. Just don't make me take it off or put it on in a hurry ;-) Otherwise just add water and shake vigorously! Not a strap that will ever fall of your wrist once secured. You can either take it off your wrist, which isn't the easiest thing to do, or your other option is cut it off. An incredibly comfortable strap in use.
Very happy to add this strap to one of my daily watches. The black hardware is exactly what I needed and I'm super stoked about how it pairs so well with the watch. Great job on the simple design.
I got the Glomar band as a replacement for the black, nylon band that came with my Stirling and it absolutely blows that strap out of the water. I love that there’s no metal in the strap aside from the required bit and it has a nylon keeper. It’s comfortable, it doesn’t rub my fat wrist in any uncomfortable ways under clothes or typing at the desk. Big fan, it’s got me using my tool. Thank you guys!

Absolutely love this Glomar strap. Been wanting a W.O.E strap for a while now, and this custom Namoki field build was arguably built with this specific strap in mind. Super comfortable, durable, and tough velcro allows for the perfect fit. OD green color is just right, and just makes this watch look really tough. Might get a grey glomar and maybe one of the five eyes to mix it up! Great stuff, W.O.E.!
Great hook and loop strap, standard size is perfect for a 7" wrist. Great addition to any tool watch! I wish they came in wider widths for my Panerai watches..

Purchased the WOE hook & loop strap as a replacement strap for my Timex Ironman … and it didn’t fit well (strap is too long for that set up). A bummer as I thought I found what the Ironman needed, however to my delight it fits great on the Unimatic. (The strap really elevates an already good watch design.) The strap design, fit, finish and construction are top notch. Well worth the price of the strap. Keep aiming high WOE. Thank you!
Comfortable and versatile.
Really well made and comfortable. Had my wife move the loop velco as only just made contact around my wrist, so now full contact and keeper is usable. Pity freight is so costly however that is out of your control.

Awesome strap! At first it’s a little tight and seems like it’s never going to loosen up, BUT with about a week worth of wear it starts to loosen up. Super comfortable, super secure, and it looks awesome on the SMP 300.

Very comfortable and durable. I picked up this strap after seeing another watch guy recommend them on a Facebook group. My wrists swell a decent amount in the summer so having a strong, secure strap that can be adjusted to the perfect size is a win in my book. Now get out there and use your shit.
