Handmade in the USA using Horween Leather base and repurposed camouflage canvas. VERY limited production.
Overview: This robust strap was personally designed by W.O.E. with the input, guidance, and expertise in craftsmanship by Greg Stevens Design in Utah. The strap has no taper, resulting in a sturdy and lasting leather strap.
The watch strap contains a W.O.E. stamp inside the strap based on the OSS Spearhead, and signature “WOE.” Designed for the quiet professional. Like a great watch, the strap is a tool, made to be used and to last. The patina on the leather and fraying of the canvas edge that can develop over years of use is a bonus.
Desert Night Camouflage: The DNC pattern was originally developed to conceal U.S. personnel from Soviet-era night vision devices (NVD) and was worn by Special Operations Forces in the first Gulf War. The camouflage quickly became obsolete for its intended purpose due to rapid developments in NVDs. The straps were constructed from military surplus BDU pants and jackets.
East German Strichtarn was a military camouflage pattern developed in East Germany and used from 1965 to 1990. The pattern was also used by several other militaries and non-state forces, notably in Africa.

Was looking for a leather band for my Panerai and decided to try this one. All I can say is WOW! I think this strap was made for my PAM959. Perfect fit, quality, and looks you expect from WOE. I have yet to be disappointed with any WOE products. Highly recommend this strap, worth the price.
I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the strap, the way it looks on my Tudor Black Bay GMT, and the outstanding customer service. WOE is my go to for all watch accessory needs.
This is a fantastic piece of kit. Leather-lined canvas/fabric straps are NOT easy to do well, but WOE has nailed the details with this one. I’ll be buying more of these.
When I bought this strap I bought the brown one shown on the website to put on my desert tan Marathon ND NAV(shown in the pic on a WOE x ZA NATO). What showed up was green...the one in the pic on my Hamilton Khaki auto. Love the strap. Super high quality just like everything else WOE offers, but for $185.00 ++ I would have liked to have had the one I thought I was getting. If I knew it was going to be green I probably wouldn't have ordered it.
I reached out to WOE and they responded. They even updated the description on their website based on my recommendation which I thought was good, to give a heads up to allow for the potential color variation. They also offered to take it back but they're hard to get and I can still use it. I reached out a second time, offered to send a picture of the green one so they could add it to the website and asked if they could switch it out for a brown one but got no response. I knew it was a long shot given the limited availability and resources so no biggy really. Not going to keep me from continuing to support WOE with future purchases.
It is a sweet strap though, and I can use it on any number of other watches in my 250+ collection so I decided to keep it. Just be aware...if you order one of these...don't count on it being a specific color and be ready to be okay with whatever color version shows up when you open the box. YYT!
Really nice and very high quality watch band I love the leather interior and the desert night camo exterior which I never heard about before.
So I had to research it and it is a really cool concept.
Thank you WOE
I put this strap on my NATO Tutima pilot’s watch from the late ‘80s. The irony of East German Strichtarn on a West German watch is not lost on me.
But the strap works wonderfully with this watch. It is very comfortable and works well with the tube lug bars that are used on this watch.
Love it.
Comfortable, stylish, and unique. Wasn't sure if it'd be worth the price but it definitely is, and there's nothing else like it on the market.
Great way to tip the hat to warfighter/Intel roots while still looking stylish to civilians. Love stuff like this that isn't overstated.
Sturdy quality leather underneath the BDU material. Really cool idea executed perfectly. Also it's in Tarkov now.
Rich leathery smell on opening, is slightly more subdued than in product pictures which i really like, those who know understood immediately what it was and others thought it was dope anyway.
Fits perfectly and is exceptional comfortable, even if stiff at first. Thicker than your average strap, but it's canvas over leather so that's to be expected. Goes great with a stainless steel case, as shown.
This is an outstanding strap. The coloring is really interesting, the quality is very high, and the overall vibe is 100% in keeping with the theme of WoE. You will feel like you are on mission every time you wear it.
Love this strap, lives on my Fears 40mm comfortable right out of the box and breaks in amazing. This is my second strap of this woe. I also have the German strictnarn as well. Killer straps, maybe a little too littleral there.
This is sure to become one of my favorite straps! The canvas and leather are bonded well, and the stitching adds reinforcement while the contrast with the canvas looks great! As good as this fits, and as excited as I am to be wearing this watch/strap combo, I know it’s just gonna get better the harder I wear it. Use your tools; yes sir! Fucking love it!!
Great strap, initial quality and finishing is very nice. It will be put to the test for durability beyond what one should, but initial impressions are promising for a long lasting and durable strap.
Store owner replied:
Looks awesome with the Sangin! Appreciate the support.
Good strap that is well built. I took it on a few hikes and some back woods camping and it stayed looking great, super comfortable on the wrist even with sweat. It’s gonna live on my Hamilton for a long while.
These straps are incredible! Sturdy Horween leather with camo canvas surface. Seems simple enough but it’s not. The quality of the leather and how the camo canvas is applied is really top notch craftsmanship. The beveled edge is smooth and without loose material to catch or fray. The hardware is highest quality. Wearing these watches on these straps feels very substantial and secure. More so than the OEM Rolex bracelet. Would I wear this strap diving or boating? NO! I wouldn’t want to possibly compromise the durability of the strap, plus, I only wear NATO or single pass straps for those activities. But anything on dry land, these are my go to. Warning: one of WOE’s main principles is discretion. Nothing discrete about these. You’ll get a million questions and compliments while wearing these.
